Crix Green Releases KEEP IT BEN FRANKLIN Mixtape

Hip-hop artist M.C. Face has released the "Keep It Ben Franklin" mixtape. The 12 track project, presented by Coast 2 Coast Mixtapes, is now available for download. The mixtape features Crix Green with appearances by Papa Reu, Melony, Leo and Keis.

Crix Green was born in the Virgin Islands, but was raised in New Orleans. He became interested in hip-hop after listening to many of the Legends in the industry. Ice T was his main influence as well as other rappers who used authentic lyrics to tell stories about their lifestyle. At 20 years old, Crix decided to pursue his passion for making music instead of just being a fan.

"The way I see it, there are three types of people in the music industry, real, fake and an entertainer. I want to be remembered as real. It doesn't matter what the topic is. Even if it is a club song. I'm going to talk about things dealing with me and what I did," says Crix.

He remains authentic by appealing to his fans through messages based on his experiences in the streets as oppose to gimmicks and rhymes used just for entertainment. "Keeping It Ben Franklin" is the debut project by Crix. His album "Statute of Limitation" will be released this summer. Keep up with all Crix Green updates by following him on Twitter.
