"When I was 18 years old I had the privilege to record an album with the great blues legend, Johnny Shines, under the name Marc Bell for Biograph Records in 1974. I was always into the Blues, Muddy Waters, B.B. King, Buddy Guy, and the modern blues masters like Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, Johnny Winter and Stevie Ray Vaughn. Along with Jazz, Rock and Roll and Punk Rock, the Blues started in America and eventually spread throughout the world. Hearing Meyer Rossabi and others who have been influenced by the greats, I can say the Blues will never die. After all, there's a bit of Blues in all of us. I was happy to record these three songs for my longtime friend Meyer Rossabi." - Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Inductee and Lifetime Achievement Grammy Award Winner Marky Ramone

Meyer Rossabi is a singer, composer, blues and Jazz guitar player dedicated to keeping the legacy of the blues alive. Influenced and inspired by artists such as Eric Clapton, Jeff Healy, George Benson, Wes Montgomery, Johnny Winter, Les Paul, and Stevie Ray Vaughn, Rossabi takes the music of his predecessors and and brings it to a new level. Renowned for his firey guitar solos and his smooth soulful voice, Meyer Rossabi is an exciting new voice in American music. Meyer wrote the opening song and additional music for the movie "Brooklyn Boys." Blues Is The Color was recorded mainly with his 1959 Flametop Les Paul.
