Beware of Darkness Debuts Brooding Video on Pure Volume

SoCal based blues-indie band, Beware of Darkness, releases contemplative video "Past Present Future" directed by Miguel Starcevich off of Sanctuary Season mixtape via Bright Antenna Records on PureVolume. Sanctuary Season mixtape is available to fans for free via Soundcloud. However, if fans want to further support BoD they can also get it on iTunes.

Beware of Darkness' video zooms in on front man Kyle Nicolaides' trials and tribulations of his "Past Present Future". Although the music video is shot in black and white, lyrics poetically ring out how maneuvering through difficult phases in life comes with shades of grey. As noted in his American Songwriter interview, Nicolaides ambition is to "make rock relevant again". Old school blues guitar riffs paired with Nicolaides fresh yet husky indie rock voice gives Beware of Darkness a mature, enlightened, and inspiring edge in the rock n' roll genre today.

Often compared to Jack White and the Black Keys while maintaining an old school blues style, the Cali band has been wildly welcomed to the music scene via Rolling Stone, SPIN, and Conan O' Brien. Beware of Darkness has shared the stage with Tegan and Sara, Stone Temple Pilots, Bush, and Deftones in their 2012 debut. In May 2013, Beware of Darkness released their first full-length album Orthodox. Comprised of bassist Daniel Curcio, drummer Tony Cupito, and front man Kyle Nicolaide, the band has toured Europe and the USA as main support for Smashing Pumpkins as well as Jane's Addiction at Uproar Festival.
