Review: THE PIANO GUYS at NJPAC for Great Holiday Entertainment
The Piano Guys, Jon Schmidt (Pianist/Songwriter), Steven Sharp Nelson (Cellist/Songwriter), Paul Anderson (Producer/Videographer), and Al van der Beek (Music Producer/Songwriter) returned to NJPAC on Dec. 9 in concert. These "four dorky dads", who gained their following by producing musical and video performances that blends the worlds of pop and classical music, have become one of the world's most famous YouTube channels in history.
Their Friday evening concert at NJPAC consisted of popular hits that the audiences know and love such "Let it Go" from Disney's Frozen, Taylor Swift's "Love Story", One Republic's "Secrets", and their famous rendition of Christina Perri's "A Thousand Years". As well as performing these well-known hits, they performed songs from their new album "Uncharted", which can be purchased at https://thepianoguys.com/shop/albums/thepianoguys-uncharted/
The Piano Guys performance was by no means your average classical music concert and it was a perfect show to see with your family this holiday season.
NJPAC has many upcoming performances. Tickets can be purchased at: http://www.njpac.org/events
