Alan Gilbert and NY Phil Releases New Album of Bach, Berg, and Brahms

The second release from the Alan Gilbert and the New York Philharmonic 2011–12 Season digital recording series is now available for download from iTunes and other major online music providers.

This latest recording features the Music Director performing with violinist Frank Peter Zimmermann, The Mary and James G. Wallach Artist-in-Residence, in J.S. Bach's Concerto for Two Violins, as well as Mr. Zimmermann in the Berg Violin Concerto.

The album concludes with Brahms's Symphony No. 3.
