ABC Returns to Nashville for Summer Block Party; Charles Esten & More to Appear

The ABC Television Network has announced the Summer Block Party schedule for Friday, June 6 and Saturday, June 7 (10:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m., CT).

Hosted by actor/comedian/host Mike Siegel ("TBS Movie Extra," "The Next Great Country Star"), this year's event is packed with entertainment for the whole family and includes a musical performance from Charles Esten (Deacon Claybourne, "Nashville"), appearances from Jonathan Jackson (Avery Barkley, "Nashville"), Andi Dorfman ("The Bachelorette"), Jason Thompson (Dr. Patrick Drake, "General Hospital"), and Laura Wright (Carly Jacks, General Hospital").

Located on Broadway between 3rd and 4th Streets on the historic Downtown Nashville strip, this year's block party will also include exclusive, first-look screenings of ABC's new fall shows "Forever," "Manhattan Love Story" and "Selfie" as well as giveaways, and all free to the general public.

FRIDAY, JUNE 6
Andi Dorfman, Jason Thompson, Laura Wright and Jonathan Jackson stop by for a Q&A session as well as an autograph signing with fans.

SATURDAY, JUNE 7

On TUESDAY, AUGUST 5, ABC will broadcast "CMA Music Festival: Country's Night to Rock" (8:00-11:00 p.m., ET), hosted by Little Big Town and featuring performances by Country's hottest acts. The three-hour ABC special is a Primetime postcard of the best Festival concert performances and behind-the-scenes stories with Country Music's biggest superstars. This is the tenth time ABC will broadcast this special -- which features the very best from America's biggest Country Music bash -- since the original Fan Fair® was launched in 1972.
