Waiakea has announced that its naturally healthy, sustainable, and ethical premium Hawaiian Volcanic Water will now be available in Whole Foods' Southern Pacific and Northern California regions this month, as well as all Mid Atlantic Wawa Inc. stores this spring.

The Whole Foods launch solidifies the explosive growth Waiakea has continued to exhibit in the natural channel the last two years, while Wawa Inc. represents the volcanic water's first venture into convenience.

"Whole Foods and Wawa represent two of the best partnerships we could ask for. Each is known to have the most loyal customer base in its perspective channel, and emulate the same core values of our own brand and its triple bottom line model. We look forward to developing a long and meaningful relationship with each of them," said Garrett McAllister, director of sales.

Customers in the Southwest and Northeast alike can now experience this award-winning and naturally alkaline water that percolates through the Mauna Loa volcano. Though already available at hundreds of retailers throughout the country, adding Whole Foods Market and Wawa Inc. to the company's impressive list of retail partners marks a giant step forward for a company that launched only two years prior.

"By expanding our reach via new relationships with Wawa and Whole Foods, we are also expanding our social impact globally," explains Ryan Emmons, founder and CEO of Waiakea Hawaiian Volcanic Water. "Every shopper who chooses Waiakea will be changing the lives of those in need by giving them access to clean water, while helping our movement to create positive industry change."

For every bottle of Waiakea Hawaiian Volcanic Water purchased, the company donates 650 liters of clean water to disadvantaged communities in Africa via PumpAid. Waiakea is also the first domestic premium bottled water to be certifiedCarbonNeutral for its variety of unparalleled eco-initiatives.

About Waiakea Hawaiian Volcanic Water
