Dopo East, an elegant and intimate restaurant located on Manhattan's Upper East Side, features traditional regional cuisine from Italy, a stately and serene dining room, a climate-controlled wine room with an award-winning wine list, and a seasonal outdoor garden. To sweeten the deal, they will deduct your cab fare from your bill (up to $20), allowing tourists and New-Yorkers alike to enjoy their flavorful Italian cuisine.

Dopo East's regional menu has plenty of options for seafood lovers. Start with dishes like Grigliata Mista (grilled calamari, smelts, and shrimp), or imported burrata with grilled figs. Enjoy pasta made freshly in-house, like pappardelle with braised short ribs and porcini. Opt for a grilled aged rib eye with roasted rosemary potatoes or a whole mediterranean branzino cooked in salt crust. Dopo East also offers a menu of healthy options, such as steamed wild salmon with lemon and olive oil, along with vegetarian and gluten-free dishes. Dine on a Friday or Saturday night to listen to live Jazz music; Dopo East has a baby grand piano in the dining room and features a talented pianist and singer.

And they've recently opened a new private wine cellar. The temperature-controlled space houses a growing list of 700 unique labels, predominantly Italian, but with an impressive collection from around the world. With a state-of-the-art Enomatic wine system, Dopo East is also able to offer premium and super-premium wines by the glass.

On weekends from noon-4pm enjoy brunch in the dining room or seasonal outdoor garden. Start with decidedly Italian egg dishes including Frittata di cipolle, a traditional onion frittata, and Uovo Strappazzate e Pancetta, scrambled eggs with pancetta. Fresh bread and croissants are baked in house. Or try a non-traditional brunch dish like Spaghetti Carbonara and entrees like grilled chicken with arugula and tomato or grilled salmon. Pair your meal with refreshing cocktails including Bellinis, Rossinis, and their signature mimosas with blood orange, passion fruit, mango or kiwi juices.
