The Transcendence Theatre Company with Benziger Family Winery Presents PAINT THE UNIVERSE
By: BWW News Desk
The Transcendence Theatre Company (TTC) has partnered with Benziger Family Winery to develop their very own Meritage blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Zinfandel called PAINT THE UNIVERSE. PAINT THE UNIVERSE is the guiding theme for the Transcendence 2014 season, reminding us all that the power to change the world lives in each and every one of us.
In the spirit of Transcendence's mission to go beyond the usual limits, the theme has been carried on with the creation of an original season song by the same title (written by internet sensation singer/songwriter Carrie Manolakos, with Andrew Allen and Robin Ghosh) and a painting by artist Lindsay Manolakos. Throw this all together with a bold wine that winemaker Mike Benziger calls, "daring and adventurous," and you have a Transcendent combination. The Benziger wine portfolio is certified sustainable, organic or Biodynamic©. In the pursuit of fine wine, Benziger follows agricultural, wine making and business practices that are good for the earth and the vine, good for the farm worker and the farmer, and good for their colleagues and their customers. This limited production wine is grown using Biodynamic farming practices at the Benziger Family Estate, where the grapes ripened slowly and developed a rich black-fruit essence and with great depth and texture. The rich volcanic soils allow for the true essence of the land to come through in every sip.Photo Credit: Stephan Stubbins
