Salute! Sofia Italian Grill Opens in Midtown

Sofia Italian Grill, the fine dining restaurant, had their opening celebration on Wednesday, January 15th in their chic and stylish new location at 42 West 48th Street between 5th and 6th Avenues. A tasting reception with delicious offerings, wine and champagne welcomed guests to the new site.

Sofia's has been well known to the New York's Theater District for 37 years as a popular spot located in the Hotel Edison. Now in their new two story location, there is a generous bar space along with first and second level dining areas. The Sofia family will be blending their beloved culinary traditions with the grill expertise of the famed Kenny's Steakhouse which the family owned for 30 years.

Executive Chef Michele Orsino's menu items will delight guests with new creations and traditional Italian favorites perfectly prepared. From appetizers and salads to paninis, entrees and desserts, there is something for everyone at Sofia's. And, when you are in midtown, stop by their bar for original cocktails, an excellent beer and wine selection and small bites.
