Rembrandt Hotel was honored to welcome esteemed guests for a packed house for this unique experience serving a 5 course degustation wine pairing menu constructed by our Executive Chef Jaume Esperalba and his team. Some highlights included some great tapas to start, Esqueixada de Baccallà (salted cod salad, butter bean and black olives), Arrós de Muntanya (rice, wild mushroom, chopped pork and artichokes), Suquet de Palamós (traditional Catalan fisherman's recipe of monkfish), Jarret de Xai Rostit (roasted boneless lamp, thyme and garlic) followed by desserts, Flame Cremat Amb Canyella (cream caramel, cinnamon, passion fruit) and Coca de Sant Joan (roasted apples, almond tart). The cuisine was well matched with wines for a true taste of Catalunya.
"It was nice to have a dinner that focused more on the complete experience as opposed to just one component," said Khun Jamie Miller, the Rembrandt Hotel Manager was extremely proud to be part of a team that produced such a culinary treat. Rembrandt Hotel Bangkok would like to thank Chef Jaume Esperalba and F&B Director Joan Ibanez and their respective teams for creating a magical evening ensuring that all guests truly experienced the amazing cuisine of Catalanya. The Rembrandt Hotel hopes all guests will stay tuned for the next coming event. About Rembrandt HotelVideos
