Taste of Toronto today announced over 60 artisan producers and premium brands set to showcase the finest in local food and beverage offerings from across the country at Fort York National Historic Site, July 2 - 5. The only Taste Festival in North America, the second annual Taste of Toronto offers guests the opportunity to engage with the city's most acclaimed chefs and sample the best of what local restaurants and producers have to offer.

Visitors can sip, sample and shop from recognizable producers, alongside up-and-coming names, of olive oils, jams, cheeses, beer, wine, kitchen tools and more at this year's Taste of Toronto. Making the trip to Toronto for the event, select international vendors join a host of local artisans from across Ontario and Canada. Now on sale, general tickets start from $19, granting access to one of six lunch or dinner sessions from Thursday, July 2 through Sunday, July 5. Youth (6-15) tickets are $15 and children under 5 attend for free. VIP and premium ticket packages are also available.

"We are delighted to welcome so many artisanal producers from across Canada, and a few of our favourites from around the world, to Taste of Toronto this year," said Meghan O'Hanlon, Event Director, Taste of Toronto. "With the vendor marketplace, the festival not only highlights the delicious food prepared by the city's most talented chefs, but also the inspiring farmers and artisans behind the local ingredients required to make each dish."

Featured vendors
Engage with local meat and dairy farmers such as Agropur Dairy Cooperative, the creators of OKA, one of Quebec's first fine cheeses; and the family-founded Blue Goose, who raise pasture-fed cattle in BC, antibiotic-free chicken and sustainably sourced rainbow trout in Ontario. Stop to satisfy your sweet tooth with a bite from Ninutik, a Toronto-based studio that designs and handcrafts distinctive gifts and confections using pure maple syrup from Ontario farms; or sample a cookie from Mary Macleod's Shortbread, a locally made international favourite for over 30 years.

Refresh and recharge with a hydrating dose of cold-pressed juice from ELXR Juice Lab, or a glass of fresh and fruity sparkling wine from The Real Bubbly by Rotkäppchen. Order Canada's favourite cocktail, a Caesar made with Walter All-Natural Craft Caesar Mix from Vancouver, or try something new with a can of Shiny Apple Cider made from local Ontario apples by Small Talk Vineyard. Last but not least, save some room for cool treats like a scoop of dairy-free soy dessert from FUMI Ice.

If your taste buds need a break, fill up a hand-loomed Tad Pepper tote bag with kitchen essentials such as organic clarified butter from Lee's Ghee, ultra-premium extra virgin olive oils and balsamic vinegars from the family-run Olive Oil Emporium, artfully handmade nachos and salsa from Toronto-based Mad Mexican, and ergonomic kitchen tools from Rhineland Cutlery, out of Abbotsford, BC.
