Border Grill Las Vegas, known for bringing to life bold, exciting flavors of Mexico, is thrilled to welcome new Executive Chef, Chris Keating. Keating joins the Border Grill team inside Mandalay Bay with over 15 years of culinary experience in the U.S and the Bahamas.

"We are very happy to bring Chef Chris on to our team in Las Vegas," said Mary Sue Milliken, co-owner and chef of Border Grill restaurants. "His enthusiasm, wealth of experience and culinary talent is a perfect fit for our company culture."

"Chef Chris brings an incredible amount of creativity and leadership to the Border Grill team," said Susan Feniger, co-owner and chef of Border Grill restaurants. "We are so excited to collaborate with him in the kitchen and share our passion for cooking."

A North Carolina native, Keating started his culinary profession as a dishwasher at the young age of 15. From there, he worked his way up through various kitchens including Bert's Seafood Grill, Marisol Bistro, Revival Grill and Sheraton Four Seasons in Greensboro; Caesars Palace in Las Vegas; and most recently Bobby Flay's Mesa Grill at The Atlantis.

"I'm excited to work with Mary Sue and Susan's team at Mandalay Bay," Keating said. "Border Grill's reputation is first-class and I'm looking forward to growing the strong culinary status they've already established."
