The Steps Beyond Foundation, dedicated to developing artistic voices, presents another Steps Beyond/REVERBdance Lab of new works by artists from all genres, including dance, music, theater and performance art, Sunday September 27, 7 PM, at the Steps on Broadway Studio Theater, 2121 Broadway. The "Lab" evenings always offer a lively variety of expressions as Steps continues its commitment to provide a safe and supportive environment for both emerging and established artists to create new works.
A unique feature of the performance lab evenings is that audience members are provided with paper and pencil, and are invited to submit to the participants written feedback expressing their thoughts - praise, constructive criticism, comments, or questions about the work (confidential, of course - no names!).
Each event concludes with a post-performance Artists Social, giving the artists and audience members a chance to nosh and network.
