New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) hosts an evening of outrageous, contemporary stand-up with some of the funniest new performers on the scene: BET star Gary Owen (House of Payne, Think Like a Man), Michael Blackson (Next Friday) and Smokey Suarez (Paper Soldiers).

Actor and stand-up sensation Gary Owen's first big break came in 1997 on BET's popular -up showcase, Comic View. Since then, he's been featured on the big screen in Daddy Day Care, Little Man, and opposite Kevin Hart in Think Like a Man. Owen had a recurring role as Zack in Tyler Perry's House of Payne, has produced two smash hit stand-up specials (Breakin' Out the Park and Urban Legend), and has headlined in both Martin Lawrence Presents: 1st Amendment Stand-Up and Shaquille O'Neal's All-Star Comedy Jam Tour. Owen is prepping his own BET series, The Gary Owen Show.

Sharing this uproarious evening are three other fast-rising stars who began their careers on the stand-up stage: Michael Blackson and Smokey Suarez.

See Gary Owen, Michael Blackson & Smokey Suarez on Friday, November 17, 2017 8:00 PM at Prudential Hall. Get your tickets now at NJPAC.org or 888.GO.NJPAC (888.466.5722).
