On Oct 1, 2013, Improv Wars will hit the Columbus entertainment scene with a two month run at the newly renovated Studio 35, 3055 Indianola Ave, Columbus, OH 43202. Improv Wars features local improv groups competing for audience laughs and applause. This is a truly interactive evening where the audience gets to be a part of the show. As the group performs they will ask the audience for a suggestion like where's a place you would never take someone on a first date, or something you'd find in your grandma's attic. The group then has to perform a scene using that suggestion, just like in the hit TV show "Whose Line is it Anyway". Winning groups for each night go on to the finale on November 19th competing for the Winner of the Improv Wars 2013. Prizes will be awarded for the winning team.

Performances are set for Tuesdays: Oct 1st, Oct. 15th, Nov. 5th, and Nov. 19th for the winner of Improv Wars 2013 at 7:00 - 9:00.

Tickets are $8 and available at the Studio 35 box office or soon at: http://studio35.com/coming-soon/

Improv Wars was started in December of 2011 by Jeff Gage and members of the improv community in Columbus. The purpose was to promote the growth of improvisation comedy to a wider audience and to provide a professional venue to showcase the talent in Central Ohio. Improv Wars started as a limited engagement run at the Funnybone Comedy Club at Easton and soon became a hit. Improv Wars has changed the battlefield to Studio 35 and the "Wars" begin again.
