On June 24th, Marco Nereo Rotelli illuminated the Field Museum with light projections of imagery and poetry inspired by Dante's Inferno. Click below for a taste of Rotelli's DIVINA NATURA!

The installation at the Field Museum was a journey into "nature" such as it is presented in the verses of Dante Alighieri's INFERNO in order to establish a link with the history of the Museum. The work is dedicated to the metaphorical strength of the animals in Dante's Inferno. An illuminating journey of numerology and astrology, animal allegories, symmetry and parallelism, are visible in the drawings and paintings that were the storyboards to transform the Museum into a spectacular page of poetry.
