SILENT BEAUTY IN ALL THE EARTH A Photo Exhibit by Bonnie Gentner Comes to Buffalo JCC

An exhibit of photography by Bonnie Gentner will be on display at the Jewish Community Center Benderson Building, Bunis Family Art Gallery, 2nd floor, 2640 North Forest Road, Amherst, NY, March 10 - April 28, 2017.

In May of 2011, Gentner began taking photographs every day and posting them on to Facebook. "All of my photos have been taken in WNY which has helped me in learning to take more time to notice not only the larger picture, but also the very smallest and truly remarkable gifts God gives in the 'hidden places' that are right in front of us.," says Gentner.

Her photographs have been on exhibit in several locations, including Lord of Life Lutheran Church - Oasis Café, Spot Coffee on Main St. in Williamsville, Jewish Community Center Benderson Family Building - Bunis Family Art Gallery, the Town of Amherst Supervisor's Office, and Jewish Community Center of Greater Buffalo - Holland Family Building.

"As I continue on in this journey, I pray that my photographs may touch the lives of others in becoming a source of healing, comfort, peace, and also a quiet but profound reminder of God's presence and grace in our daily lives. This is, indeed, my Father's world, and His wonders are to behold," says Gentner.

The exhibit includes an artist's reception Sunday, April 23, 1-3 p.m. in the Bunis Family Gallery, located on the 2nd floor, at the Jewish Community Center, 2640 North Forest Road in Getzville, NY. Guests are invited to view the exhibit and meet the artist.
