Road Less Traveled Productions Continues With Operations and Upholds Mission
Road Less Traveled Productions (RLTP) today announced that cessation of film showings at the Market Arcade Film & Arts Centre does not displace RLTP. RLTP is working with the City of Buffalo, the current building owner, to maintain operations in the space during any transition and through a possible sale of the building by the City. Ultimately, what entity gains control of the building, and under what use plan, may affect RLTP's ability to stay in the space and still meet its non-profit mission of fiscal responsibility, community inclusion, and artistic collaboration. As it has throughout its history, RLTP will maintain its quality educational programming and live theatre regardless of its location.
Founded in 2003, Road Less Traveled Productions (RLTP) is a professional, non-profit theatre company dedicated to the development and production of new theatrical works by Western New York playwrights, as well as presentations of esteemed modern dramas of outstanding literary merit. We are dedicated to telling stories that reflect our lives, and reveal our common relationships and diverse humanity. We are committed to engaging a new, more youthful, more diverse audience. We embrace a mission of fiscal responsibility, community inclusion, and artistic collaboration. We manage a live theatre season as well as a set of strategically linked educational programs. RLTP, a member of the National New Play Network, operates the Road Less Traveled Theater, located since 2006 in the Market Arcade Film & Arts Centre in Downtown Buffalo's Historic Theatre District.
