CATCH TAKES BASILICA Set for 7/10

On Sunday July 10, CATCH - "everyone's favorite" Brooklyn-based, hydra-headed, multi-disciplinary, rough-and-ready series of performance events - forges back upriver to re-conquer Basilica Hudson. After a standing-room-only crowd on their maiden voyage to the Hudson Valley last summer, they are pleased to deploy a new squadron of the finest artists laying claim to NYC, the Hudson Valley-or both.

CATCH is curated with reckless delicacy by Jeff Larson, Andrew Dinwiddie and Caleb Hammons, and was awarded a prestigious Obie Award in 2015 for its contribution to the performing arts community in New York City. Conceived in a Williamsburg bar in 2003, Catch has given stage to some of the most exciting emerging artists and avant luminaries, pouring equal portions of community, love and beer all over Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan and in seven other cities across the country.

CATCH takes to the road to meet the adventurous artists and audiences living and working in every cool city in this country, to expand the CATCH community and to facilitate artist-to-artist and artist-to-audience creative cross pollination. CATCH on the road fosters these connections by programming artist lineups reflecting the aesthetic and cultural diversity of both NYC and the host city, and working with local artists and arts community leaders to meet new artists, venues, and audiences. So far CATCH has visited Philadelphia, Minneapolis, Chicago, Portland, Austin, Hudson and Phoenicia, with preliminary plans to visit several other cities in the next year.

CATCH TAKES BASILICA Performances will begin at 6pm Sunday 10 July at Basilica Hudson, located at 110 South Front Street, Hudson NY. All tickets are $15 cash at the door. There will be a CATCH VAN leaving from New York City earlier that day, round trip van tickets are $30 and include entrance to the event. Please visit catchseries.org to reserve a seat on the van!
