Everybooty, BAM's celebration of New York City Pride Month, returns to BAM Fisher on June 29. This all-inclusive, all-gender celebration of queer nightlife features musicians, dancers, comedians, visual artists, a dedicated piano bar, and dancing in the entire BAM Fisher building. With this event, BAM joins the city-wide commemoration of Stonewall 50.

Now in its 7th year, Everybooty has become Brooklyn's preeminent Pride party, celebrating a wide swath of queer nightlife. Past favorites join new talents this year, including trend-setter Andre J. (curated and co-produced by 651Arts); the Brooklyn drag collective Switch n' Play; drag queens Flower Tortilla, Lady Quesa'Dilla, Viva Vidalia, Theydy Bedbug; and the legendary House of LaBeija. The Hillman Studio is transformed into a piano bar with Marc Oleszko. Expect special guest appearances by song stylists Salty Brine, Jo Lampert, Erin Markey, Tasha Michelle, and others. For dance lovers, DJs Papi Juice will be spinning music on the Rooftop Terrace while J Clef keeps everyone moving in the Fishman Space. Melo Davis, a graduate of the BAMFellowship in Stagecraft and Production, designs the astrology-themed décor. The visual art exhibition in the Fisher Lower Lobby features the dazzling photo series Kings & Queens (by Dutch photographer Léon Hendrickx and Micha Schneijderberg). Each photograph is a technically flawless juxtaposition of one individual as two separate entities-an intimate portrayal of real drag artists interacting with their everyday selves. Global queer media network Slay TV-elevating narratives of queer and trans people of color through curating and creating compelling cultured content-will also be represented.

Inspired by the boundary-busting Pride festivities of San Francisco, Everybooty is a yearly Pride event that focuses not only on featuring local artists and performers but bringing together the too often fractured queer communities of New York City. The first Everybooty was held in 2011 at Public Assembly in Williamsburg, Brooklyn and drew a crowd of over 2,000. In 2012 an all-day party was held at the former outdoor DeKalb Market in Downtown Brooklyn. The 2013 installment, the first at the BAM Fisher, transformed the building into the ultimate party venue, with multiple events on four floors.
