The Philip Glass Ensemble will make its debut at Music Worcester on October 18th at Mechanics Hall. The ensemble, comprising principal performers of Glass's work, will present two notable pieces: Glassworks and Music in Eight Parts. The latter, a work from the composer’s Minimalist period, was rediscovered in 2017 after being lost for decades. Led by Music Director Michael Riesman, the ensemble includes distinguished artists such as Lisa Bielawa and Dan Bora.
