Moonbox Productions will host the 4th Annual Boston New Works Festival from June 26 to June 29, 2025, at the Boston Center for the Arts, featuring seven original plays by local playwrights. Among them, James McLindon's Hitch explores the encounter between Lane, a 36-year-old man, and a biracial hitchhiker named Dee, as they confront personal truths during their journey. Other festival highlights include Rachel Greene's Guts, a reality competition play, and Mireya Sánchez-Maes' How to Kill a Goat, which takes audiences on a humorous exploration of cultural identity. The festival will also include interactive dance performances and an art installation by local artists.
