Moonbox Productions presents the 4th Annual Boston New Works Festival from June 26 to June 29, 2025, at the Boston Center for the Arts, featuring seven original plays by local playwrights. Highlights include Fangirl by Luna Abréu-Santana, directed by Alexis Elisa Macedo, which explores themes of identity and fandom, and Guts by Rachel Greene, directed by Shalee Cole Mauleón, which delves into the lives of reality show contestants. Other notable works include Mox Nox by Patrick Gabridge and Creature Feature by Micah Pflaum, directed by Hazel J. Peters, offering unique interpretations of personal and fantastical narratives. The festival will also feature interactive dance performances and art installations from local artists.
