Weston Friendly Society Presents THE MUSIC MAN Beginning 11/26
The Weston Friendly Society presents its 127th season, opening with MerEdith Wilson's all-American Broadway classic THE MUSIC MAN!
An affectionate paean to Smalltown, U.S.A. of a bygone era, MerEdith Wilson’s THE MUSIC MAN follows fast-talking traveling salesman Harold Hill as he cons the people of River City, Iowa into buying instruments and uniforms for a boys’ band he vows to organize – this despite the fact he doesn’t know a trombone from a treble clef.
His plans to skip town with the cash are foiled when he falls for Marian the librarian. By turns wicked, funny, warm, romantic and touching, THE MUSIC MAN is family entertainment at its best.
THE MUSIC MAN is being presented with stage and musical direction by Chris Holownia, and choreography by Becky Dillaway.
You can see THE MUSIC MAN at the Weston Town Hall on the following dates:
Saturday, November 26th at 2:00 & 7:30 PM
Sunday, November 27th at 2:00 PM
