Reagle Music Theatre of Greater Boston continues its 47th consecutive summer season with the hilariously entertaining Kiss Me, Kate, from July 9-19, 2015 at the Robinson Theatre (617 Lexington St. Waltham, MA, 02452). Starring Broadway couple Sarah Pfisterer as Lilli Vanessi/Kate (The Phantom of the Opera, Reagle's My Fair Lady) and Rick Hilsabeck as Fred Graham/Petruchio (Billy Elliot, Reagle's My Fair Lady), Cole Porter's hilarious musical recounts the madcap backstage and onstage antics of two feuding couples during a production of The Taming of the Shrew. Reagle will close out its summer season from August 6-16 with Wonderful Town, starring Katie Anne Clarke and Jennifer Ellis. Individual tickets range from $35 to $63; season subscriptions and group tickets are available at a discount. Cole Porter's most successful musical, Kiss Me, Kate opened on Broadway in 1948 and ran for 1,077 performances. It won five Tony Awards in 1949, including "Best Musical," "Best Script," and "Best Score," the same number the revival claimed in 2000. The musical comedy features the unforgettable hits "Too Darn Hot," "Another Op'nin, Another Show," and "Brush Up Your Shakespeare." Music and Lyrics by Cole Porter, Book by Sam and Bella Spewack.

Starring:

Sarah Pfisterer* (Lilli Vanessi/Kate): Sarah has performed numerous roles at Reagle Music Theatre including Eliza in My Fair Lady, Maria in The Sound of Music (IRNE Award in 2005), Marian in The Music Man (IRNE nomination in 2004), Irene Molloy in Hello, Dolly!, Grace Farrell in Annie (IRNE nomination), Anna in The King and I (IRNE nomination), Belle in Beauty and the Beast (IRNE nomination), Betty Rogers in The Will Rogers Follies, and Julie in Carousel (IRNE Award). Recently she appeared as Anna Smith in Meet Me in St. Louis at New York City's Irish Repertory Theatre. Sarah played over one thousand performances in the role of Christine in The Phantom of the Opera on Broadway and across the country, and she was nominated for the prestigious Joseph Jefferson Award for her portrayal of the romantic heroine. A Metropolitan Opera semi-finalist, Sarah has made numerous concert appearances including "The Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber" at the Kennedy Center with conductors such as Michael Tilson Thomas and John McGlinn. She also did a recording of Jerome Kern's Oh, Boy! in London under the direction of Mr. McGlinn. She has appeared on The Today Show, The Rosie O'Donnell Show, in numerous commercials, and industrial films. She and her husband, Rick Hilsabeck, and two daughters make their home in Connecticut, where they remain active on the concert circuit and are the Co-Founders of Wiremill Academy, a performing arts school for young people. *Denotes member of Actors' Equity Association.

Rick Hilsabeck*(Fred Graham/Petruchio): Other Reagle Music Theatre credits include Henry Higgins in My Fair Lady and Cornelius Hackl in Hello, Dolly!. Broadway credits include the Tony Award-winning Billy Elliot in the role of Big Davey, and the leading role of Caractacus Potts in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. He is best known for his portrayal of The Phantom in the First National Company production of The Phantom of the Opera for which he received a Joseph Jefferson Award nomination. Rick was also in the original world premiere cast of Bounce, where he was seen as Wilson Mizner at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC. He played Governor Slaton in the First National Company of Parade, Henry Ford in the original Chicago Company of Ragtime, Nathan Detroit in Guys and Dolls with Burke Moses at American Musical Theatre of San Jose, and Herbie in Gypsy for AMTSJ and for Westchester Broadway Theater. Rick was a founding member and spent eleven years as a principal dancer with Hubbard Street Dance Company Chicago where he choreographed and taught for Artistic Director Lou Conte. Early in his career in Los Angeles, Rick was a member of the internationally acclaimed singing group The Young Americans, where he had the honor of performing with Fred Astaire, Bing Crosby, and many others. He and his wife, Sarah Pfisterer, remain active on the Broadway/Pops Concert circuit. They live in Connecticut with their stepdaughters where they opened Wiremill Academy, a performing arts school for young people. *Denotes member of Actors' Equity Association.

Lovely Hoffman (Hattie): Lovely Hoffman is a singer, songwriter and musical theatre performer born and raised in Roxbury and Dorchester, MA. Lovely has had major success performing in shows with multi-platinum Def Jam recording artist Ne-yo as well as Jaheim and T-Pain. Ms. Hoffman attended Boston College receiving a B.A. in Political Science and a minor in Music. She also received a Master's in Education at Boston College. Lovely returns to Reagle Music Theatre after playing one of the Dynamites in the 2010 production of Hairspray. Ms. Hoffman recently received the 2015 Independent Reviewers of New England (IRNE) Award for Best Actress in a Musical for her portrayal of Celie in the New England Premier of The Color Purple at Speakeasy Stage Company. Other theatre credits include: Avenue Q (Gary Coleman) at Vokes Theatre, Little Shop of Horrors (Crystal) and K.I.S.S.I.N.G-Staged Reading (Dot) at New Repertory Theatre, Ragtime (Sara's Friend) at The Umbrella, Ain't Misbehavin (Nell Carter Role) at Lyric Stage Company, Sunfish (Storyteller) at Stoneham Theatre. Lovely Hoffman is also a singer/songwriter and her social justice music video Black Lives Matter is an official selection of the 2015 San Francisco Black Film Festival and the 2015 Roxbury International Film Festival.
