The Reagle Music Theatre of Greater Boston welcomes American pop and country music icon Patti Page back by popular demand for one show only Sunday, November 21 at 2 p.m. Page is making her third appearance at the Robinson Theatre, 617 Lexington Street, Waltham, Mass., where she has previously performed to sold-out audiences.

In this special pre-holiday concert the Grammy Award winner and perennial Billboard chart topper known as the "Singing Rage" mixes favorite tunes from her Hit Parade heyday with contemporary covers from several of her newest CDs. Featured songs include "Unchained Melody," "Gentle on My Mind," "Old Cape Cod," "Doggie in the Window," and her record-breaking signature classic, "Tennessee Waltz."

Opening for Page is popular local entertainer Pat Benti of Revere. In his 40-year nightclub and concert stage career Benti has performed with The Righteous Brothers, Tony Orlando, Herb Reed & The Platters, Roy Orbison, Pat Cooper and Milton Berle. His critically acclaimed themed shows "That's Amore" and "In Dreams" cull from the repertoires of Tony Bennett, Frankie Valli, Dean Martin, Louis Prima, and Orbison.
Patti Page is one of America's true musical icons. In the course of her seven-decade recording career, she has become a living legend by selling more than 100 million records, making her one of the biggest selling female recording artists in history.

Page's silky-smooth voice engulfed the airwaves during the '50s and '60s, providing her with a staggering 111 hits, 15 gold records and four gold albums. Page became the first crossover artist to take country music out of the country and onto the pop charts with such million record sellers as "Mockin' Bird Hill," "I Went to Your Wedding," "Mister and Mississippi," and, of course, the legendary "Tennessee Waltz." That megahit earned the distinction of being ranked number one on all three charts (Pop, Country, and R&B) concurrently and has sold more than 10 million copies worldwide. Page was also the first artist to use multiple voice techniques on records and the only singer - male or female - to have starred in shows bearing her name on all three major television networks.

Patti Page continues to "rage on," recording now on her own label C.A.F. Records. Recent albums are "Sweet Sounds of Christmas," her first holiday album since 1966; "Child of Mine" which includes a new rendition of her multi-million seller "(How Much Is That) Doggie in the Window;" and "Brand New Tennessee Waltz" which features guest artists Emmylou Harris, Kathy Mattea, Trisha Yearwood, Alison Krauss and Suzy Boguss. Her 1997 50th Anniversary Concert at Carnegie Hall was recorded live on CD and earned her a Grammy Award (remarkably her first in her storied career). Her most recent album, "Best Country Songs" featuring old favorites plus the duet "Home Sweet Oklahoma" with Vince Gill, was released in 2008.

In March 2009 Kathdan Books published Page's memoir, "This Is My Song." Her memoir and a selection of her latest CDs, including "Best Country Songs," will be available for purchase in the lobby of the Robinson Theatre before and after the concert.
