OBERON, the American Repertory Theater's (A.R.T.) second stage and club theater venue on the fringe of Harvard Square, announces all the offerings to be presented at OBERON during July and August, in addition to the previously announced productions, including Visiting Artists, Artists in Residence, and Usual Suspects.

JAGGERY + ARC IRIS + FAUN FABLES

Three bands with their own unique appreciation for genre-crossing eclecticism. From the art-witch song telling of Oakland-based Faun Fables, to the fearlessly ambitious freak-folk-meets-glam-rock Providence-based Arc Iris, to the unmistakably original and enigmatic dark avant-chamber pop of Boston quintet Jaggery.

Royally Talented is a variety competition for new and emerging artists in the Boston area. The show celebrates queer artists and their allies in the art of burlesque, comedy, spoken word, variety arts, and all genres of drag. Act 1 features fifteen rising stars battling it out for top honors and titles. During Act 2, the feature performers keep the party going while our judges and referees tally the votes. At the end of the night the grand prize winner receives a prize pack including $50 cash, a crown, tickets to an upcoming Mortis Ministries show, a guaranteed spot in WTF Queerlesque 4, and more!

With an assist from gym teacher Jim (Dale Stones of Sirlesque), dancing STDs, and an epic, live-action contraception battle, you'll leave loving every body.

The Moth StorySLAMs are steadily spreading all over the map, gathering people and stories from all over the country. New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Boston have multiple shows each month. The Moth is open to anyone with a five-minute story to share on the night's posted theme. The brave of heart, or those with stories they're aching to tell, prepare personal, true tales. When the doors open, storyteller hopefuls put their names in The Moth Hat. A half hour later, names are picked, and one by one, storytellers take the stage. Each person has just five minutes. The 10 featured stories are scored by teams of judges selected from the audience. Each StorySLAM generates a StorySLAM winner. After ten SLAMs, the winners face off in the GrandSLAM Championships.

At this mid-summer jamboree, poet Anne Champion, writer/comedian Wes Hazard, comedian Sam Jay, Harvard Kennedy School lecturer and writer Tim McCarthy, and writer Sara Sweeney will divulge the hottest, wettest, and wildest summer stories. The improvisational, instrumental guitar-drum duo The Rococo Bang will provide the score.

Though Bomb with Matthew Flynn is a show where eccentric writers, stand-up comics, illustrators, etc. get a chance to perform a story and do a karaoke song with the aid of a live band.
