North Shore Music Theatre Announces Box Office Opening

By:

On May 1, 2011, the award-winning North Shore Music Theatre (NSMT) enjoyed a very successful box office opening day, the largest since 2007. Five-Show Subscription packages, Trio packages and individual tickets for all musicals, concerts and kids' shows are now on sale to the public.

The entertaining 2011 schedule offers Broadway musicals, kids' shows and the return of the Celebrity Concert Series. The musical schedule features an exciting mix of classic musicals including My Fair Lady staring Charles Shaughnessy star of "The Nanny," new titles including the New England Premiere of Tarzan, the high-flying Disney musical, and the return of A Christmas Carol, New England's brightest holiday tradition. The concert season includes Hollywood legend Debbie Reynolds, King of the Blues B.B. King and entertainment superstar Marie Osmond.

"I am very encouraged by the response to the 2011 season. Our subscription base has surpassed 2010 and continues to grow, and the opening day sales are a sure sign that we are headed in the right direction with the choices we are offering our dedicated audience," said Owner/Producer Bill Hanney. "We had a very difficult challenge with the reopening in 2010. The North Shore community has let me know that they want this theatre to live.
