By:

New Repertory Theatre announces the Next Voices Festival: New Play Readings, featuring the work of Lila Rose Kaplan, Walt McGough, James McLindon, and Cassie M. Seinuk, June 4 & 5, 2016 in the Black Box Theater at the Arsenal Center for the Arts, 321 Arsenal Street, Watertown, MA. All readings are free and open to the public. Call the Box Office at 617-923- 8487 to reserve your complimentary spot.

"New Rep's dedication to producing new plays has been a part of our mission from the beginning," says Next Voices curator and New Rep Associate Artistic Director, Bridget Kathleen O'Leary. "At the center of that commitment is encouraging our audiences' vibrant and passionate contribution to the conversations we have around the work we do. The Next Voices Festival is yet another opportunity for audiences to lend a voice to our process and to the development of these works. We hope all will join us for this reading series and contribute to this valuable process. "

About the NEXT VOICES FESTIVAL

New Repertory Theatre is committed to the development and production of new work. Through our Next Voices Fellowship program, we are dedicated to providing a creative laboratory for four playwrights each season who work as a group on tackling the challenges of their individual plays. We believe that bringing life from the page to the stage does not happen in isolation and neither should the writing process.

Next Voices Advisory Committee

Kirsten Greenidge, Melinda Lopez, Bridget Kathleen O'Leary, Jim Petosa, and Kate Snodgrass.
