Backed by Tom LaMark on piano, Live Out Loud! will be performed on consecutive Sundays, November 16th and 23rd. The show is directed by IRNE Award winner Ida Zecco and will be recorded for possible future CD release.
Abernathy will perform his cabaret show which features contemporary Broadway and Cabaret music written by Stephen Sondheim, Kander and Ebb, Elton John, Andrew Lippa, William Finn, and many others...out and proud members of the GLBT community. A portion of the proceeds of the November 16th show, with special guest Kitty Litter, will benefit AIDS Care Ocean State. Live Out Loud! will be performed on Sunday, November 16, 2008 and Sunday, November 23, 2008 at The Hi-Hat, 3 Davol Square, Providence, RI. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. for dinner.
