Hole in the Wall Theater in New Britain, CT will present The Last Five Years by Jason Robert Brown as the second show of its 2007-2008 season.

"The Last Five Years is an intimate, two person musical that chronicles the courtship, marriage and breakup of Jamie Wellerstein, a rising novelist, and Cathy Hiatt, a struggling actress, in a new and unusual way: her story starts at the end of their relationship; his begins on the day they meet. Jamie and Cathy fall in love, marry, and struggle as Jamie's career as a writer takes off while Cathy does summer stock in Ohio and wonders when she will ever land that terrific role," explain press notes.

The Last Five Years was originally produced for the New York stage by Arielle Tepper and Marty Bell, and originally produced by Northlight Theatre in Chicago, IL.

Christopher deJongh and Stacy Constantine will play Jamie and Cathy. A three-person band, "The Last 5 Three", will accompany the pair onstage.

The production runs from November 16 through December 15, 2007.  Performances are Friday and Saturday nights at 8:00 p.m. at Hole in the Wall Theater, 116 Main Street, New Britain, CT.

Admission is by a suggested donation of $20.  For reservations call 860-229-3049.  For more information about Hole in the Wall Theater visit www.hitw.org.
