FSPA Announces The School's Summer Ballet Repertory Program Held Through 8/19, Culminates With Performance 8/19

The Franklin School for the Performing Arts (FSPA) is pleased to announce that the school's Summer Ballet Repertory Program held from June 29 - August 19 will culminate with a student performance on Wednesday, August 19 at 7:00 p.m. at the Dean College Campus Center. The performance will feature excerpts from the ballets Sleeping Beauty and Les Patineurs choreographed by FSPA Ballet Mistress Cheryl Madeaux Abbott. The program also includes a modern piece choreographed by FSPA faculty member Lorry May and a contemporary ballet piece entitled "Andare" choreographed by guest master teacher Timothy Melady, who was in residence for two weeks of the summer program.

Students participating and performing in the FSPA Summer Reperatory Program are

Megan Chisholm, Ali Funkhouser, Susan Siraco and Katie Wilson of Franklin; Julia Bilotta and Samantha Terranova of Medway; Emily Burke and ElizaBeth Williams of Norfolk, Cassandra Desjourdy of Medfield; Danielle Hall of Hopkinton; Callie Liljeberg and Caroline Spencer of Wrentham and FSPA alumnus and summer intern Andrew Holmes of Holliston.

The FSPA Summer Dance Concert is free and open to the public.
