The Delta Generators will celebrate the release of their new studio album ON & ON May 22 at the Spire Center for Performing Arts in Plymouth, MA with a special concert.

The group's latest album features a collection of songs written, arranged, and rehearsed over just eight days, with recording completed in two days at Power Station N.E. in Waterford, CT, led by renowned producer Evan Bakke. This process allowed the band to create music without preconceived notions, resulting in a raw and vibrant collection that celebrates both blues and rock influences.

The Delta Generators, formed in 2007, consists of brothers Charlie and Rick O'Neal on guitar and bass, respectively, alongside drummer Jeff Armstrong and vocalist Brian Templeton, a fixture in the local scene since 1991 and member of The Radio Kings prior to joining the band in 2016. The Delta Generators have made a name for themselves in the Boston Blues scene, winning the Boston Blues Challenge and competing in the International Blues Challenge in Memphis.

Their new album ON & ON showcases their distinct sound and chemistry, with drummer Jeff Armstrong noting that it represents a cohesive work, unlike their previous compilations. Charlie O'Neal adds that it captures the live spirit of the band and is sonically superior to their past albums.

Other upcoming events at the Spire include The Steel Wheels on May 1, Session Americana with Kris Delmhorst on May 8, A Band of Brothers on May 9, FJ: The Music of Foreigner Journey on June 5, Carbon Leaf on June 12, The Reckoners on June 13, Paul Thorn on June 20, Albert Cummings on June 26, An Evening with Livingston Taylor on June 27 and more.

The Delta Generators Album Release Party takes place  on May 22 at the Spire Center for the Performing Arts. Doors open at 7:00 PM, with the show starting at 8:00 PM. Tickets are available at spirecenter.org. The Spire Center is located at 25 ½ Court Street, Plymouth, MA, and is wheelchair accessible with public parking available nearby.
