Broadway Sessions, in association with TheBestArts.com, will present a concert/showcase event featuring Alumni and graduates from The Boston Conservatory on Thursday, May 5th.

The evening will feature performances by Boston alums Alysha Umphress (American Idiot),Nikka Graff Lanzarone (Women on the Verge), Will Blum (Grease), Jason Michael Snow (Book of Mormon), Matthew John Karcegis (The Civil War), Derek St. Pierre (Rock of Ages) and singer/composer Jonathan Reid Gealt (Thirteen Stories Down). The concert event will also feature performances by members of the 2011 Boston Conservatory graduating class-Taylor Avazpour, Elizabeth Berg, Alexandra Blazey, Arielle Boutin, Steven Cardona, Whitney Conkling, Caley Crawford, Lisa Finegold, Liam Forde, Danny George, Adam Goddu, Stephanie Gandolfo, Ellen Harvey, Mike Heslin, Bryan Hunt, Eric Johnson, Cailene Kilcoyne, Kathleen Lynch, Kelly Martin, Alex Matteo, Cassie Means, Dylan McGill, Carolyn Miller, Mackenzie Miller, Marissa Miller, Trent Mills, Bryan Miner, Johnny Newcomb, Becca Pesce, Josh Pemberton, Jenny Powell, Babs Rubenstein, Sam Schecter, Ben Simpson, Lisa Marie Smith, Greg Stone, Dan Sullivan, Julie Thomas, Santina Umbach, Emma Wagner and Amanda Weldin.

Broadway Sessions is described as an evening of musical performances, games, comedy and open mic featuring a new Broadway guest each week. The show is hosted by Broadway veteran Ben Cameron ( Wicked, Aida, Footloose) and features musical director/composer Will Van Dyke (The Addams Family) on piano. The musical theater themed evening takes place every Thursday evening at The Midtown Theater (163 west 46th street, inside the HA! Comedy Club). Doors open at 10:30 pm with showtime at 11pm and open mic going til 2 am. There is no cover charge for this event. Donations will be collected for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights Aids.
