I'm gonna see Hair in June (thanks for the advice, you guys), and I will most likely be getting my tickets today. Now at this point, the best seats that are available for 5 people is Row K at the side orchestra or Row B in the center mezzanine.

The only reason I'm so confused is because I'm wondering that if being in the mezzanine will take away from the experience. I've heard that there's cast interactions in the first few rows (although I think RowK may be a little too far) and that the audience can dance onstage during the finale.

So should I get side orchestra seats for a more "in-your-face" experience, or center mezzanine for a better view? Or does that even matter?

I'd go with orchestra... I sat in row L and the seats were great for this show.

I'd go with the orchestra seats.

I'd go with orchestra as well. The view is great and the cast runs all up and down the entire aisle the whole show.

Is the view great for the side orchestra as well?

The side rows of the orchestra have great views and great cast interaction, so I would go with those seats.

There really is no bad seat in the theater...except maybe the rear mezz but I haven't sat there.

I agree - orchestra. I've seen 3 shows at the Hirschfeld, 2 times I had orchestra seats, they were definitely better.

I sat in side orchestra twice(right and left), and the seats were great! I did not like mezz at all...especially for this show.

sgv- can i just ask what you didn't like about the mezz?

I'm seeing it from the rear mezz soon.

At the opening I was way up in the rear mezz and Will Swenson and many others interacted with us throughout the show up there. Not really different then when I sat in row 8 of the orchestra. My opinion at least.

The view was ok, but after sitting in the 2nd row(aisle) I got a little spoiled as far as the view and interaction goes. It also probably did not help being surrounded by some obnoxious people!

I just bought seven seats, dead center, row A in the Mezz. Are these good seats for this show?

Is the rear mezz way high up? Cause I know the theater is pretty small. I hope it's not just the tops of their heads like it is a the Palace.

Does anyone know if the front row in the Mezz. is good for the Hirschfield, as far as the cast interaction goes? Thank you
