I have a ticket to the last show of A CATERED AFFAIR on July 27 (the only time I'll be back up to NYC before the end of August). I haven't seen it before
Now I just found some stuff about a show KICKING A DEAD HORSE at the Public (I believe)
Has anyone seen KADH? I would *really* like to see it (tho I'm not sure if I can still get a ticket for 7/27), and especially if I hear from someone(s) that it is fabulous, I will try to get a ticket to it and just skip ACA
(if I do, someone can have my ACA ticket if they want it)
Has anyone seen both? Any opinions, suggestions, people who know it's already sold out?
Thanks for any help

Kicking a Dead Horse had its press opening Monday (14th) so the reviews were all over yesterday's papers and are still on websites.
This is an 80 minute monologue sort of I guess giving a modern analogy to the death of the West. Well intentioned and dull is what it really is. There is a very good visual joke at the very end.
I'm not going to say A Catered Affair is scintilating, but at least people sing.
