Three actors, male, white, able to pass as high school students for small roles in our original comedic one act play going up as part of The Ninth Annual Midtown International Theatre Festival.
A breakdown of the roles: (Please keep in mind that these are supporting, not lead, roles)
Luke: (Twenty four lines) A charming, handsome, troublemaking high school senior; the object of the lead character, Principal Morrison’s, affection. Actor must be attractive as well as comfortable being kissed/groped by a man.
Mark: (Nine lines) A rebellious student (more than likely the son of rich parents), revolting against his ‘white bread’ surroundings. Also a high school senior. No specifications for the actor, really, although being able to rock the "I'm-at-private-school-but-I'm-a-rebel" thing with ease is a big plus.
Matthew: (Three lines) A student with romantic interest in his Principal’s dowdy secretary. Actor should be at least chubby, but in a healthy, jolly kind of way. He has few lines, but a lot of his action in the play is through his silent interactions with the secretary.
We can’t pay you, but we won’t ask too many hours and hope the experience and exposure will be worth it!
This play was performed as part of a college festival at The Producer’s Club and was part of the February 2007 Strawberry One Act Festival, making it to the semifinals.
Show dates are between July 14 and August 10; we’ll have three to six shows, we’re not sure yet.
Rehearsal dates and hours are negotiable.
More lines may be created/assigned if circumstances call for lengthening the script.

An additional female role is needed as well.
Johanna: A "ghetto" white girl. She is confrontational and one of the boys (while remaining sexy).
