The nukes are a major problem so if Pakistan goes down watch out.

India will freak depending who is left in control after the smoke clears.

India is a wonderful place and the situation between it and Pakistan causes peolple to paint India in a very bad light.

The place is full of poverty and has practically no infrastructure, but it's not radical, and the people are not violent by nature.

Other nations, however, are. And I think Pakistan is headed towards Iran, Saudi Arabia, etc.

our sky-blue slates are steaming in the sun,
our yachts tinkling and dancing in the bay
like racehorses. We contemplate at last
shining windows, a future forbidden to no one.

Pakistani President Gen. Pervez Musharraf’s decision to suspend the constitution, seize emergency power, and round up leading opposition figures is bringing quiet joy to the State Department. “Thank heavens for small favors,” an aide to Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice said, referring to Musharraf’s actions. Compared to Pakistan, “Iraq looks pretty good.”

Ex-PM Bhutto under house arrest

The move came as she tried to leave her Islamabad home, which has been blocked off by police to stop her joining a planned rally in nearby Rawalpindi.

Police in the city clashed with Ms Bhutto's supporters defying a ban on rallies imposed under emergency rule.

Ms Bhutto has vowed to wage a campaign aimed at forcing President Pervez Musharraf to stand down as army chief.

Officers in riot gear blocked off the road to the former prime minister's house with barbed wire on Friday, with no-one being allowed in or out.

The 30-day detention order was served on Ms Bhutto after she tried to cross the police cordon.

As events unfolded, she told the BBC that her supporters would carry on her campaign even if she were detained.

So we are going to invade Iran because they might get nukes but we allowed Pakistan to get them. Interesting.
