That makes me feel a whole lot better about the situation.

Usually various artists soundtracks include...well...various artists. Maybe that's just how they are listing it until they have a track listing. The CD cover itself doesn't say it though.
Usually bonus content on a soundtrack means that those are the songs that they didn't use in the film. I hope all the songs gets used in the film including 'green finch'
It's on 2 discs because most of the score IS included. It's not going to be a second disc of remixes and celebs singing Sweeney songs.
The word is only one major song/sequence has been cut (not including interludes, reprises, etc) And it's obvious which one it is if you think about it. The song/sequence will be missed, but we can't complain since most of the score will be there.
We serve their food,
We carve their meat,
We tend to their house,
We polish their
Silverware.
Ahhh....when I typed in Sweeney Todd on Anazon (Not using the link in the 1st post) the only one that comes up is the single disc. The link above takes you to the Deluxe set. So what sequence do you think will be missing. Hopefully not "Johanna" from Act II where he is killing people in the chair. It is my favorite.
I would love that if there samples or clips of the songs somewhere!

You can have your say,
You can set you goals
And seize the day,
You've been given the freedom
To work your way
To the head of the line-
To the head of the line!"
