I know there was a similar thread recently but I'm just wondering how many straight plays are on Broadway at the moment and how many musicals. I'm not including off-broadway because I'm wondering about plays that are more mainstream.
Also do they attract huge audiences like musicals ? Are ticket prices the same ?
And as I am am a dramatic actor -cant sing or dance what are the opportunities like in NY?

Thanks a lot Margo that was very interesting. Here it is the opposite there are a majority of straight plays wheras musical theatre is a completely foreign concept.
