Spring Awakening Vacations

I have tickets to see SA twice in July (my first time) and I'm very nervous about understudies and vacations. Any news?



It's not that I have anything against understudies, I respect them a great deal. I just want to see the full original cast, you know?

Does anyonoe know about the cast on Friday? I am flying into the city from across the country to see the show. I have had tickets for ages now and really want to see the full cast? Any info?

Warning re: TGO: If you don't like crazed fangirls, enter TGO at your own risk. Man, I adore SA, but there are lots of truly obssessed people on that board who need help LOL.

As far as absences go, I think the only ones that would affect the show much would be Gallagher and (arguably) Groff.

yeah am much as I love the show...I'm not going anywhere near TGO. Also I've seen the show eight times now and only ONCE has someone been out (Lauren watched as the Dance Captain)

I post on TGO, but I don't think I'll be going to any meetups or anything. I just like discussing the show.

Yeah I totally understand.
It seems like a place with a lot of information and appreciation for the show, but like you said, "meetups" and stuff of that nature seem like a little much!

Definitely. I mean, I love the discussions I can have there, but about 3/4 of that board is cast member talk, and I choose not to stage door the show because I just hate the awkwardness of it all, and especially the competitive feel of some of these fans.

Haha yeah from what I saw, it was pretty much a competition as to who is "closest" with the cast.

that kind of stuff, which gets annoying fast!

TGO....HAHAHAHHAHAHA. I'm one of the most active members, but it's a complete joke now. It used to be cool for awhile, but I mostly just spam threads now. It's quite fun.

That's basically it. I am a mod and basically all I do is spam the boards. Over load of crazies after the Tony's. That board is kind of joke to some of us now.

Is Groff still planning taking another day off in late July/early August, as previously mentioned? It's getting time for me to start planning my trip to NY to see SA and the only cast members I really care about seeing are Groff and Gallagher.

I joined TGO, got scared, and left. I prefer to be a fan of Spring Awakening within the comfort of friends and a few people on this board.
