Does anyone know if there is sheet music available for this song? I really like it. I just got Phillip Chaffin's CD and I can't stop listening to that song. I don't really care for some of the lyrics, but at the same time, I love the lyrics.
ALNM was the first Sondheim score I ever heard. I remember actually welling up when I heard the last notes of Weekend in the Country, it was just so beautiful.
I think it's his best score.

"Silly People" was cut from A Little Night Music. Marry Me A Little is a revue of Sondheim's cut songs, "Silly People" was included; therefore, technically "Silly People" belongs to Marry Me A Little but it was originally written for A Little Night Music and cut from that show.
"Some people can thrive and bloom living life in a living room, that's perfect for some people of one hundred and five. But I at least gotta try, when I think of all the sights that I gotta see, all the places I gotta play, all the things that I gotta be at"
A Little Night Music is in my humble opinion Sondheim's most unappreciated score and in my score one of his most brillant as well. Its just such a great score, book, and lyrics.....i wish this would be revived on Broadway. Actually it would work well like Sweeney Tood, especially Henrick already plays an 'cello
"Passion can drive you crazy but is there any other way to live"
