I will absolutely trip on the nearest inanimate object.
Last time I saw the show, I was so in awe afterwards that I tripped on and fell into a chair.

Stephen Sondheim went to see the London version last year! If he hasen't been spotted at this show yet I reckon he will be there sometime soon!
He has seen this production at least once and I'm guessing more than that. He was at the performance prior to the Jan 31st CD signing.

MenzelManiac, I don't know about celebrities, since it is a holiday weekend, but I would think/hope that since this is an evening show, there will be some Broadway people there since it's likely they will be out of their matinees and done for the day.
So hopefully there will be a lot of the Broadway community out there to support the show, along with us!

Posted: 8/22/06 at 4:44pmSondheim was at the first preview as I sat only a dew seats away from him. He will undoublty be at the last performance as well. I'm pretty sure he goes to the closing performances of all of his shows, at least the last Gypsy revival.

Posted: 8/22/06 at 6:41pmteebz, just to let you know. Sweeney's rush only applies on weekdays, and closing is a Sunday. I'm also guessing that this will be one of the few Sweeney showings to sell out, so there might be standing room, but I doubt there will be any good rush seats. :/

We had something come up at the last minute and weren't able to make the trip.
