I was there, front row, seat 13. And boy was it good. I was greatly upset that the directors didn't do anything for her. I mean, when John Lithgow left, he got a whole speech thing and a gift. I was so angry that Sherie didn't get anything. Was anyone else there on Sunday?

I didn't even KNOW she was leaving!! Unless it's temporary and she's coming back...?
"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."
--Aristotle
Sherie is coming back in a few months. She left to do a limited run of a show called "Landscape Of The Body."
"There was this one time an alarm went off - it was in the middle of '24.' That's just wrong. Everyone knows everyone was watching '24' at that time."
--NYU student quoted in the Washington Square News about students ignoring the frequent fire alarms in dorms
She said that she might come back in June. She had to go to some previous engagement play. So yeah, Feb 5 was her last show until June. She was outstanding! Her son was backstage and came out to take pictures. God he was so cute!

Yeah it was indeed a great show. I wasnt expecting a speech given that Sara did not give one when she left the same day as John. They both will be back at the show in a few months.
Yeah, Sara temporarily left on John's last night, and they didn't acknowledge that either, only if they're permanently leaving I guess.
"If there was a Mount Rushmore for Broadway scores, "West Side Story" would be front and center. It snaps, it crackles it pops! It surges with a roar, its energy and sheer life undiminished by the years" - NYPost reviewer Elisabeth Vincentelli
I was there too. Thought it was a great show. Was it just me or did Sherie pack an extra punch at the end of "Here I Am" and at the end of "Finale" ("They'll never beat three of a kind!")?
