It's always been a favorite of mine. Especially Joe Morton's performance as Walter Lee. I'm surprised it's not produced more often.

I loved that show. Saw it numerous times. I was a kid and it's still with me. Powerful and the recording captures the power of the piece. Ernestine Jackson made me cry. A beautiful underrated actress.
