Posted: 12/18/05 at 9:37amHave any of you seen Mel Brooks interviewed for any of "The Producers" stuff? I haven't at all and am guessing he is still struggling with his wife Anne Bancroft's death. Not like Mel to stay out of the limelight when there's an opportunity like this!

It was said in a New York Magazine article that Mel cancelled all of his interviews/appearances, since he is mourning Anne's death at his home in California. He sent around a simple email apology letter.
Word has it that he did some in advance of the UK opening.
