i agree BwayTheater!
if only cheyenne jackson were gaston! but i doubt he'd ever do it. speaking of gaston, i know in the movie he had the ponytail, but on broadway it just looks SO wrong. he has more hair than belle! who is the beast currently? mr.blanchard is good and all, but isnt he a bit old? it doesnt look right when he's 'human again'. just my opinion...

Aww, yay for mark! oh and BATB sure has the potential to allow for an odd little all shook up reunion...

Jenn as Belle, Cheyenne as Gaston and Mark as Lefou. Except that cheyenne is in some far off land filming a movie and we all know what jenn's got on her plate. Just fun to think about... that might even make me want to see beauty and the beast though most definitely highly unlikely.

I disagree about the Blanchard comment. I want him to play the beast till he's dead. That man has the most beautiful pipes for a baritone EVER! I get chills everytime I even think about him holding the note at the end of act one....WOW

rockfenris, I think it was his character in Dance of the Vampires that was supposed to be annoying. I still loved him in it though.
He was also so great in All Shook Up. He played the role of Dennis so well.
I think he's really unique too. I don't know how many performers I would be able to compare him too.

Yes I agree - Steven Blanchard was just AMAZING and I LOVED his voice duing "If I Can't Love Her" - he made me listen to a song I once thought was boring and dull...

Mark Price as Lefou? I'd think he'd make a better Beast or Gaston... :-P jk

Saw B and B tonight (Sat)
Mark is a Great LeFou, very Different than the gymnasts and dancers they have hired before.
He is a True Physical Character actor. Bravo!
Ashley Brown is kickin' Butt as Belle, the new changes in "Change in Me" are Amazing and She Stops the Show Cold.
People were actually Cheering after that number.
Steve Blanchard can still sing the sh*t out of "If I Can't Love Her" but He is walkin thru most of the show and at his age (sorry) Who can Blame Him. He is very talented but needs to be in a more age appropriate role.
A Younger Hotter Beast would work since Disney is gettin rid of the Older cast members and juicing up this show.
The Male ensemble is more attractive than before but the Women look tired, that said, the Menkin score still Scores and the Story will always work.

Saw it last night (12/20), and Mark was great! Hadn't seen it awhile and I'd forgotten how physical a role it is. Lefou sure spends a lot of time on the floor with all the trips and falls, and Mark pulls it off with such great comedic flair. (And for you ASU fans, it's just oddly familiar to see him play a sidekick - in a different show!)

If anyone else is tempted to see B&B, definitely go because not only is Mark awesome, but Ashley Brown is amazing. A powerhouse voice.

what change was made to A CHANGE IN ME... i saw this show when i went to New York in June and loved it... although the sets looked not very Broadway caliber... and i will agree... Steve Blanchard looked really old when he was human... and i just didn't care for his rendition of If I Can't Love Her... it was very talk/singing and it didn't move me...
