Oh Kass, how can I thank you enough ? Every time I read a thread that angers and/or saddens me, your wonderful, positive and very logical posts calm me and make me smile ! Love ya, girl !!

I said it and I'll say it again. I am glad the movie got made ! If you saw it and hated it, well, let it go, at least be glad that another musical was up there on the big screen ! And if you saw and it was everything you wished it would be, who cares about ticket sales, as long as you enjoyed it and it made you happy ??

The film hasn't yet opened here in Australia yet. I've not seen any advertising at all for it yet (though I hear that trailers are being shown). The stage version opened amid much hype but failed to garner much interest and closed early. So it will be interesting to see how it goes.
How much did the movie cost ?

I look forward to seeing how the film of The Producers fares too in comparison.

Despite the fact that the movie is not doing so well, the sountrack is on Amazon at #7 today. That is interesting because I am inclined to believe that all the rentheads got their copy long ago. So that says that there are still some non-rentheads who are quite interested in this movie (at least to some degree). Maybe everyone is waiting for the DVD.

This doesn't surprise me at all. I never expected the film to be a commercial success. I'm just hoping it opens some "bigger" doors for the cast.

Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be enbered with your old nonsense. ~ Emerson
