I just bought the DVD of "Elaine Stritch At Liberty" which says on the cover "Stritch on Broadway" even though it was filmed in London.

Does anyone know if this is the exact Broadway show? Was anything added or deleted for London?

I have finished watching the DVD. On the cover, it states:

"Judy At The Palace, Sinatra at Carnegie Hall, Streisand at the Garden"

The only one she mentions is Judy. What's up with that?

I saw the show on Broadway.
Yes, the only one of these performers that she spoke about was Garland.

If I remember correctly, the "Garland at the Palace, Sinatra at Carnegie Hall, Streisand at the Winter Garden..." was used in advertisments, and as a marketing phrase during the run of the show; comparing Stritch's run on Broadway to these performers and their legendary performances in NYC. So, in essence, SUGGESTING that "Stritch" be added to this impressive line-up. Updated On: 11/24/03 at 12:20 AM

Thanks Horsey. That makes total sense. I don't know why that didn't dawn on me.

I saw the DVD in the store the other day. I was going to get it, but I want to kow if it's worth it? I saw her on Broadway and loved it, but does it really fall into the "Judy at the Palace"/must have collection?

To be honest TheaterBaby, I was bored at some points. It should have been trimmed down more. I don't consider it a "must have." I just bought it because I had worked with Stritch and hadn't been able to see it on Broadway.
